I am so happy that you are here. My name is Morgan. I am a wife, teacher and food enthusiast. I have a degree in Elementary Education and I teach sixth grade math and science in a suburb outside the city of Chicago. I have been teaching for three years and I absolutely love my job.
Even though my profession is in teaching, I have a passion for learning about and cooking with real food and natural ingredients. I love to cook for my little family and I thought I would start this blog to share my low-carb recipes and easy tips for staying fit and healthy with all of you.
This is not a weight loss blog. I will not (and cannot) chronicle the exact details of my weight, calories, carbs, fat, ounces of food, WWP+, SmartPoints, FitPoints or any other dietary measurements that you can think of.
Instead, I believe that with the right foods and tools, you can find a healthy lifestyle that works for you. This blog will prove that you don’t have to sacrifice good food in order to be healthy.
